I built this trailer with a portable kitchen around 30 years ago and we have had so much fun camping with it over the years. Our friends call it the “chuck wagon”. It carries a portable kitchen, racks for 2 bicycles, all the camping gear you need for tent camping all in one unit. It is so convenient to not having to gather all the things you need for a camping trip. Everything stays in the trailer, tent, bedding, cookware, tableware, tools, everything but your clothes and food. There is also a 10x20 foot canopy.

How it works is you have access to four milk crates in the kitchen while it’s parked at home. Load these with dry goods at home, a large cooler can set on the storage box in front, and you’re ready to go. The front storage box has pots and pans, Coleman stove, party lights, lanterns and more. The larger side compartment has tent, bedding, etc. There are 2 side bins for tent pegs and tools.

The unit is pretty rain resistant while unloaded at the campsite, but should be parked in a garage or shed of some kind at home. The kitchen is wheeled off using a ramp which becomes a table with folding legs. We put the Coleman stove and dishwashing tubs on this table. There is a hanging light over the table and party lights for the canopy. The kitchen has a-c outlets and a light dimmer over the counter. Many more features to make tent camping easy and convenient.

Another thing about camping with this setup that made it so much fun is that other campers will always stop in to see this “rig” and how it all went on the chuck wagon for transport.

For more information or questions, please call. We are located a few miles south of Elkins. Reason for selling is my wife and I are now in our 70’s and it is a bit much for us to handle. We would like to find some younger tent campers to give the chuck wagon setup a good home. We are asking $500 for everything, including a 10x14 Coleman wall tent and 2 spare tires and wheels.
