We serviced the machine in the fall ... oil ... grease etc. The machine starts right up with an electric cord or once warm can be started easily with pull rope. It has about 5 forward speeds and 3 reverse. This is an older machine but still functions fine. It will throw snow 50 feet!! And will clear a hard surface driveway in minutes! It has a 24 inch auger. I even have the book for it!! The machine does need a carburetor as it will leak a little gas if you leave the petcock on! However, once running it runs fine and no leaks. If I was going to keep it, I would simply put on new carb. As great as the machine is ... my wife and I are both 75 now and we simple can't handle it anymore, although I did use it on one of the major snows this winter. As they say: They don't make them like this anymore ... it's a heavy-duty machine!!
I am asking $500 for it, but I will negotiate!! First real offer will take it!
